Abyss Pouch

Most large GP pouches give you the storage you need by taking up more space than they should.

The Abyss was designed to give you the capacity of a large GP pouch without the excessive footprint or the tendency to hang low off your kit.

At 3 columns wide by 6 rows tall, the Abyss keeps its footprint compact while using a unique mounting geometry that allows the pouch to sit slightly above and below its mounting point. The result is a pouch that stays close to your kit instead of creating the excessive drop found on many large GP pouches.

The Abyss is designed to minimize the amount of pouch hanging below your mounting point, helping keep it from interfering with your movement when crouching or working around the rest of your kit.

You get the storage capacity of a large GP pouch without unnecessarily increasing the vertical footprint of your setup.

Access What You Carry

The Abyss uses a top opening design inspired by the way some rucks are configured.

Instead of a centered zipper creating two bulky lips when opened, the front flap folds away from you, giving you a clear view into the pouch and making it easier to find what you’re looking for.

A small retention lip around the zipper helps keep items near the top of the pouch from falling out when the pouch is opened.

Built For Real Equipment

The Abyss has the capacity to carry larger essentials, including a 32 oz Nalgene bottle, while leaving the remainder of the pouch open for whatever else the mission requires.

The rear interior features a dedicated sleeve for items such as:

• Notepads
• Small maps
• Range cards
• Triage cards

Elastic retainers above the sleeve keep smaller items such as pens, pencils, map markers, chest decompression needles, and similar equipment organized and accessible.

The remainder of the pouch is intentionally left open to accommodate larger equipment and additional gear.
